Co-Founder, Chief Product Officer, Creative Director at Her Campus Media

As Chief Product Officer and Creative Director, Annie drives innovation across all of Her Campus’s multimedia initiatives, leading creative and technical strategy to build the products that make Her Campus the most beloved, authentic, recognizable brand for college women everywhere. She has scaled the CMS to support a publication rate of hundreds of features daily, and global readership of millions of readers monthly. Annie also oversees the design arm of the company’s agency practice that develops the award-winning advertising campaigns that have earned Her Campus Media its reputation as the #1 college marketing agency. Finally, Annie spearheads the company’s e-commerce passion project, a new shopping destination for female millennials.

Annie is honored to have been named to Forbes’s 30 Under 30, Inc.’s 30 Under 30, and Businessweek’s 25 Under 25 lists. She enjoys sharing her story with many audiences, and has given talks at BlogHer, Creative Mornings, Harvard University, Boston University, and more.


Eshauna Smith

CEO at Urban Alliance

Since 2013, Eshauna Smith has worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Urban Alliance, a nonprofit organization here in D.C. that works to supply under-provided youth with the resources and experiences they need to become economically self-sufficient. With an educational background in Mass Communications and Public Affairs, Smith worked as a Program Associate with the Moriah Fund before becoming Program Manager at a Pro-Choice educational organization. She then moved on to be a founding director of the DC Alliance of Youth Advocates, where she connected over 100 youth-serving organizations to help achieve their common goal. These experiences paired with her time as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education to reconnect youth to education or employment led to her impressive current position.

Michelle McKelvey

Senior Partner Manager at Facebook

Michelle graduated from Babson in 2012, with a concentration in Marketing & Strategic Management. After graduation, she started her career at Marriott International. During her 3 years at Marriott, she started as an Administrative Assistant and rose to become a New Business Sales Executive. From Marriott, Michelle was hired as the youngest New Business Account Executive at Google where she hunted advertisers that weren’t advertising on Google. She broke numerous records including the most quarterly revenue sold, highest yearly revenue ever sold, highest amount of prospected leads & pitches, highest number of accounts on-boarded and mentor of the quarter.

Michelle left Google to join Facebook in Austin, where she is currently a Partner Manager. She leads a portfolio of marketing agencies within their SMB organization.
